Ty-Juana L. Flores

Ty-Juana is a tastemaker, arts administrator, and strategic designer with over a decade of experience in design, higher education, and the performing arts. She uses human-centered design and qualitative research to help people, programs, and organizations create meaningful connections and lasting impact. Through a collaborative, culturally informed approach, she centers community wisdom, amplifies underrepresented voices through storytelling, and inspires transformative change.

She is currently telling stories and bringing people together in The Tasting Room , while expanding her knowledge in the wine industry with Napa Valley Wine Academy and Wine Unify, with a specific focus on WSET Level 1 certification. In March 2025, she was featured in Breaking Barriers: The Women Changing the Wine Industry.

In addition to her independent practice, she’s the Director of Identity-Based Programs at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and serves as Board Chair to the Boston Cultural Council for the City of Boston’s Mayors Office of Arts and Culture.
